These release notes document improvements to the Checkwriters software released to the Production environment throughout the month of November 2024.
Improvements
Custom Reports
Default Output Format
The Custom Report default output format option has been enhanced to default to the output format type defined for that report. Previously, the report always defaulted to PDF regardless of whether another output format type was defined.
Current Time Off Balances (new report)
A new accrual report, Current Time Off Balances, is now available.
This report pulls in employee accrual information for review; sample output of the report is provided in the screenshot below.
Feature Fixes
Recruit
We have addressed two issues within Recruit:

We have solved for the issue where employees were not being sent to Checkwriters if the acceptance and/or start date were backdated in Recruit.

We are now setting the Checkwriters Employee Hire Date to the Start Date sent over from Recruit.

Prior to this fix, the Checkwriters Employee Hire Date was set to the date the employee was selected in the New Hire Center.

Pennsylvania Tax - PSD Code search link
We have updated the Address Search Application link, used to determine an employee's PSD code, to the new web address.
Previously, the user was being redirected to the new web address from an older one.
Time off Request Email
We have fixed an issue where the Notes in a time off request email were truncating; this is no longer an issue.
