08/15/2025 Release Notes: Suppress Web Clock Column

These release notes document improvements to the Checkwriters software released on 08/15/2025.

We have added an option for companies using Time Clock. This option can be helpful for companies that want to use Web Clock for some employees, but a physical clock for others. Please contact Checkwriters Client Support at support@checkwriters.com to discuss this option.

This option will enable a checkbox column, “Suppress Web Clock”, which can be viewed on Attendance (module) → Time Clock → Employee Assignment. When you select this checkbox for an employee, it will disable the Web Clock display as the employee signs in to ESS.

Note: The “Suppress Web Clock” status will also be included in the Assignment Export.

The Web Clock display, shown below, will not be available to an employee after “Suppress Web Clock” checkbox has been selected for their settings. This employee will only be able to use a physical Time Clock.
