These release notes document improvements to the Checkwriters software released on 08/10/2026.

QSR Import with Missing Required Data

For users with access to QSRsoft Management, we have improved the import process. If a QSR import is missing required employee data, it will now import successfully and identify the missing data fields. Users will receive an error notification and will be able to enter the missing information into Checkwriters before approving and finalizing the import.

This table shows examples of required data fields that, if missing, will generate an error message, and the corresponding error messages.

To review and correct missing data, navigate to QSRsoft Management→ Data Processing. Select each of the side menu options to review and correct any missing imported data. After correcting missing data, continue to Approval to complete the import.

Before this change, if required data fields were missing information, the import would fail, and users would often have to contact Checkwriters Client Support. This new functionality helps users easily identify and address missing data independently.
