New Mexico Workers' Compensation Tax Codes
For companies with employees in New Mexico, when both the NMWC and NMWC-E tax codes are configured for the company, the payroll review process will now verify that the employees have both codes assigned and the codes are active.
If the employee has the New Mexico state tax assigned, and the company has NMWC and/or NMWC-E configured for the company, the payroll review process will generate an error if the employee is missing one of the codes or if one or both of the codes are not active.
Refer to the screenshot below for an example of an employee with a missing tax code.
