These release notes document improvements to the Checkwriters software released on 06/15/2026.

 Employee Onboarding - Direct Deposit Notification

When an employee is working through the onboarding process, we will now send a direct deposit notification to the employee as soon as a direct deposit account is added or changed by the employee, or by a company user (e.g., an Admin or Manager), during onboarding. 

Previously, the direct deposit change notifications were not sent out until the employee profile was activated in the system.
